| Landscape Oil on Linen 40cmx40cm 15.7"x15.7" February 2009 Painted with knife—like most of my works. A thick impasto, almost like a relief sculpture. This one has very broad and clear strokes. I don't like to rework on my oils.. Most are done very spontaneously without too much rubbing or layers. |

| Lanckorona-2 Oil on Linen 30cmx30cm 11.8"x11.8" 1 January 2009 Lanckorona is a village in Poland, near Kraków. It is famous for its well preserved 19th century wooden houses. This is only the second painting from numerous studies I have done covering summer and winter. |
